Sorry, but this just seems to be looping footage... am I missing something?

EDIT: It seems you have updated it. Space Bar still does nothing. I am still exceptionally confused as to the goal, and you should probably add some kind of 'rounding' parameter to the health. Maybe you should work on this more before posting.

harrytubestudios responds:

edit I just want some feedback to what I have so far this is day 1 every time I work on it I will upload it
space kills the enemy when near you and the health is just an idea its like that for testing thanks for the feedback
the goal is to kill and report back

Amazing concept, but the graphics and controls make it tricky/boring to play. Polish up the platforms and UX and it's gold. Sound effects would be cool too.

LucidNightmare responds:

Thanks for your feedback. You actually gave me the motivation I needed to revive and improve this project ! I will fix some issues, and someone will help me with graphism. We will also add a storyline to link the five chapters together.

So ... you just click? I'm not sure this counts as a 'game' unless I am missing something.

Skolas3654 responds:

Its more of a small activity, not meant to be taken seriously

PROS: Style, mechanics, originality, and yes, music. I wanted to pretend I was Antonio Banderas.

CONS: Repetitive. Sometimes the music FX during fights did get a little annoying.

I see that you made this game in a week, so there isn't much depth to the game. I suggest diving back in and adding more items, powerups, switches, keys, and all that other stuff kids like. Don't add color though. I think the B/W was a huge plus.

ROCoGames responds:

Haha, thanks a lot man. I'll take a look at expanding the world some more to stamp out the repetitive feel. Really glad you liked the music (I'm not great on guitar).

Really great feedback thank you :D

Ingenious. Amazing retro style. Unique and creative gameplay. Amazing ska soundtrack.

Nallebeorn responds:

So happy you enjoyed it! It means a lot to me :)

You have seriously got to try harder. These games are not good and quickly tossed together, not to mention having nothing to do with GTA except for the font.

OfficialBoxingwolf responds:

And the cities...And the stories...And the wanted level and money stats. Seriously? Have you ever played GTA? I actually did work hard on these games. I'm new to AS3, and these game are fairly detailed. PM me with a comeback, if you have one, zero bomber.

Graphics and sound are pretty. Lots of gratuitous butt shots. Other than that, I have no idea what is going on.

Ganderoleg responds:

Thank you for playing and I hope you didn’t give up on finishing the level.

At the start of the game player should go in the opposite direction of the demon-guard (you can see his movement and your direction when you click on the map) until you reach the end of the corridor. By turning the wooden wheel you can open the wall-doors to the secret passage.

In the passage there is a word-puzzle-hint on the wooden board held by the statue that opens the first steel door and a solution to the second steel door is in the astrological map in the third room from the first steel doors.

Eye-icon (map icon) lightens up when there are interactive or important objects/hints in the room.

Very good Asteroids/Maelstrom game. Solid sound effects and the objects look good. Controls are great and your math/physics for the space craft are spot on.

Minor improvements.
- Text and story could be a bit ... fancier? Just an opinion.
- Everything is small. It took me a good 30 seconds to finally hit something.
- Planets(?) look a bit simple. I recommend moving the center of your gradient a little off center to give it a 'globe' appearance.

I am in the market to make a game like this, so its a bit inspiring.

Decent game mechanics. Need more ... 'stuff' (sound effects, powerups, traps, switches, keys, trampolines, and ... yeah, just MORE!)

Also I found of the enemies were on a ledge directly above me and on my head (like a metroid on samus's head), I didn't get hurt. I think the weapon not coming out of the gun was weird. Here's a platformer that I am working on if you want any pointers.

Keep it up. You're on the right track. Just don't skimp on the details.

danul7777 responds:

thanks for the tips :). . i like the music and the weapons in your game :) . you can try change how the enemies looks. (like viking, snow monster, mammut)

I make tons of things like games and cartoons and puppet shows and mixed drinks. Got me an Emmy Nomination in 2010, so that's neat. I'm just here to expose myself. Check out my site to see everything else I didn't post on Newgrounds.
